The event helped conclude of 5 A Day Across the USA(tm), the Foundation's week-long effort to educate consumers about eating more fruits and vegetables.

Visitors to New York City's Central Park are treated to the World's Longest Salad Bar May 27, which measured 180 yards long. The HV Food Products Company conducted the event. The Produce for Better Health Foundation provided the more than 17,000 pounds of produce for the salad bar.
