Your Privacy

This online giving page is a service provided by Blackbaud, Inc., to the nonprofit organization to which you are contributing. This Web site was created for the purpose of helping nonprofit organizations receive donations online. Blackbaud is committed to protecting your privacy. Please read on for more details about our privacy policy.

Information Collection

Should you decide to make a donation, you will be asked to provide your name, contact information, and credit card billing information. All of this information is encrypted using SSL, an industry standard secure technology. This encryption is designed to prevent the theft or interception of the information you provide. SSL encryption is indicated on your Web browser by the display of a lock or key on the browser status bar.

Blackbaud provides the technology to ensure that your donation to the nonprofit organization you choose is successful. Blackbaud does not sell, trade, rent, or share your information with any entity other than the nonprofit organization that receives your donation and the vendor we have selected to process payment transactions, which has its own privacy policy. We may use demographic data derived from aggregate donor information, such as number of donors from a particular locale or number of donations above a certain giving level.

E-Mail Addresses

This Web site collects your e-mail address for the sole purpose of sending donation confirmations. Blackbaud will not disclose, sell, trade, rent, or otherwise reveal your e-mail address to any entity other than the nonprofit organization that receives your donation, which has its own privacy policy.

Security

In addition to utilizing SSL encryption for all transactions, Blackbaud stores encrypted credit card numbers and passwords, as well as other donor information, on servers that are kept in a physically secure environment with strict policies that minimize staff access to the information contained therein. The Card Security Code is only used for credit card processing and is not stored on Blackbaud's servers.

Each nonprofit organization may have a privacy policy that differs from Blackbaud’s. Please contact the specific nonprofit organization for information regarding its privacy policy. Blackbaud is not responsible for any uses of donor information made by the nonprofit organization.
